DILG Region XII–PDMU Sarangani personnel Engr II Cyrill May Pesigan and PEO II Shabie Amoloria joined the conduct of the final inspection and documentation of Locally Funded Projects in the Municipality of Maasim on August 19–20, 2026.

The activity was conducted in coordination with DILG Region Office XII–PDMU Engineers Engr III Mila Inodio and Engr III Kent Zxl Ramirez, who also paid a courtesy call on OIC-Provincial Director Ian Jon S. Clemente.

The inspection covered seven (7) projects funded under the LGSF-FALGU and LGSF-SBDP, including:

1. FY 2024 LGSF-FALGU

• Construction of Multi-Purpose Building (ECCD) – Brgy. Malbang

2. FY 2025 LGSF-SBDP

• Concreting of Farm-to-Market Road – Brgy. Kanalo
• Concreting of Farm-to-Market Road – Brgy. Lumatil
• Construction of One-Storey School Building – Brgy. Tinoto
• Provision of Renewable Energy-Based Electrification – Brgy. Colon
• Provision of Renewable Energy-Based Electrification – Brgy. Poblacion
• Provision of Renewable Energy-Based Electrification – Brgy. Daliao

The final inspection was conducted to see the actual progress and condition of the projects on the ground, verify their accomplishments, and make sure that the necessary documents were complete and properly recorded.

The activity concluded with an exit conference with the LGU, represented by MLGOO Rodolfo Jerez, together with representatives from the LGU Engineering Office and Municipal Planning and Development Office. The inspection findings, observations, and other relevant matters were discussed to support proper project documentation and monitoring.

Through these monitoring and validation activities, DILG XII–PDMU Sarangani continues to strengthen its oversight of locally funded projects and promote their proper implementation and delivery of intended benefits to communities.
