Preventing & Countering Violent Extremism and Insurgency (PCVEI) is a comprehensive strategy aimed at stopping the radicalization and recruitment of individuals into violent extremist groups, as well as actively disrupting and countering ongoing insurgencies, by addressing the root causes of extremism through community engagement, social interventions, law enforcement measures, and counter-narrative campaigns, while upholding human rights and promoting inclusive societal approaches to build resilience against violent ideologies
