Operation L!isto is a national advocacy program launched by the Philippine Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) aimed at strengthening disaster preparedness among Local Government Units (LGUs) by providing comprehensive guidelines and protocols for actions to be taken before, during, and after a disaster, essentially ensuring communities are “ready” (listo) to respond effectively to calamities; it includes components like establishing local disaster preparedness plans, training response teams, and stockpiling emergency supplies.
