BARANGAY ELIGIBILITY

DESCRIPTION

as defined by the DILG (Department of Interior and Local Government) refers to the qualifications required for an individual to hold a position as a barangay official, which typically includes being a registered voter, residing in the barangay for a specified period (usually at least six months), being of legal age, and having the ability to read and write; essentially meaning they meet the necessary criteria to be elected or appointed to a barangay position within their community.
