DESCRIPTION

A “Barangay Assembly Day” is a designated day where all residents of a barangay (the smallest administrative unit in the Philippines) are invited to gather to discuss important community issues, receive updates on barangay projects and finances, and actively participate in decision-making processes, promoting transparency and accountability from local officials, all in accordance with the Local Government Code (RA 7160).
